Five years ago, we spent two weeks skiing at Trois Vallees, France, the largest connected ski complex in the world. It provided what could arguably be our best two-weeks of back to back skiing

ever. On this trip, we did two day trips to nearby Les Arcs/La Plagne, France. On one of those days we got lucky and got to rip 18 inches of fresh powder. It was an unforgettable powpow day and the video segment in that year’s ski movie proves it. Les Arcs and La Plagne USED to be two separate resorts. But once they built a huge aerial tram connecting the two, it became the LARGEST RESORT in the world.

The Hotel

The hotel has many amenities, including access to a full spa. The location could not be better, ski-in/ski-out, in the middle of La Plagne, with walk-to access to the entire lift system. AND breakfast and dinner are included every day!

Roommate note

Many single people want double occupancy but are signing up solo for the tour. We will attempt to assign you a same-sex room mate who is in the same situation, at your request.While we will do our best to match you with a room mate, it must be understood that anyone signing up as a single is responsible for the single supplement unless a room mate is found. All cancellation charges and other provisions of the booking agreement would still apply.

The skiing

Les Arcs and La Plagne USED to be two separate resorts. But once they built a huge aerial tram connecting the two, it became the LARGEST RESORT in the world. Needless to say, there is more skiing here than anyone can ski in a week. We skied two days there and barely scratched the surface. There is terrain for everyone, from hundreds of kilometers of groomers and off-trail bowls and trees for the experts. Overall, the French Alps have the most perfectly-developed, organized, ski resorts in the world… and Les Arcs/ La Plagne is the biggest resort in the best ski region on the planet.
